Default Mounting license plate

For those of you who know, how do I mount my license plate to the air deflector?? Thanx.

If you do some searching on the net for Street Rod shops you can find License plate holders with electric motors on them. That way you can make the license plate hinge up and be almost invisible or flip back down and be seen.

If that's what he's talking about, that's easy. You just drill about 3 holes on the bottom of the bumper cover, and then using a combination of bolts, washers and nuts, it will be very well attached.

That's how I did mine as well. You can actually see it better in person than it appears in pictures.

i just bent the plate back where the numbers are then drilled two small holes for mounting the plate and used the regular mounting screws has held just fine put 700 miles on it yesterday

i did mine like that with nuts, bolts, and washers. and the answer is no, its not legal. i havent been pulled over for it, but two of my friends have. the troopers both told them something along the lines of "nice try" and gave them both warnings.

i havent been messed with about it yet, and you can see it alot better in person.

when i read the title of this thread i knew the guy asking would be from texas.
