k guys, the lights that we'll be using are going to be Hella 90mm projectors. I've used these in past projects and they have just an amazing light pattern. High beams will be Hella 90mm high wattage fog lights.

Price I won't know until we get in there and start production. I would say price will range anywhere from $700-$900. Now, keep in mind we aren't using cheap products here. The pods will be made of fiberglass or carbon fiber and you won't be able to see anything but the lights when you look through the clear plastic cover. It's gonna be a real slick setup, I'm tell ya

Here is what the lights look like

The pod obviously will be the toughest part to get perfect but when we do come out with them, that's what they'll be, perfect

since when has phamspeed produced a product that was expensive??? I think 700-900 is reasonable for the product, expecially if they are using real CF. I'm glad I don't have a trans am, I'd just have another thing to spend money on.

Very reasonable compared to the breathless kits. Those are horrible. If they can make a nice product, I will pay for quality.

HID lights would be sweet

BTW ... can you make a lense that will not crack or fade or change color under different weather conditions. One thing I hate is when the headlight glass turns yellow

Yes, they will be high quality pieces. I guess I can sell them for $500 if I used cheap *** fog lights but who wants that right?

Lexan will not fade, not with my experience anyways. I've had lexan covers on my rx7 sitting outside 2 years strait and they have not faded or discolored at all. If it comes down to people being worried about this, I might just send two sets of covers just in case

Why not use the hella 90mm high beam unit instead of the fog unit? since most of us t/a guys will be putting the 90mm fog units in our fog light holes anyways?

Oh and will the option to be able to remove the lexan and units be possible to paint the fiberglass/carbon fibre body color?

I would highly recommend selling a whole kit all together as well as the different pieces. I have already retrofit those Hella 90mm low and high units into my TA but utilizing the stock pop-up system but would love to be able to just drop those into your housing. I have also converted the H9 Hella low beam to utilize the Philips D2S HID bulb/ballasts, etc.

Anyway, I am very interested, especially if I can get just the housing for a discounted price!!!

I WOULD BE GREATLY INTERESTED!!!!!! x 100

I've changed out about 6 pairs of these damn electric headlight motors and am sick and tired of it... I probably would of already bought the breathless kit but have heard a lot of really bad quality issues with it. Also, i've heard that the headlight motors are discontinued from GM... dunno if it's just a rumor or not... but if it's true, this might be the only alternative for us TA guys... so i think the market out there for them will be great for you!

One question, the headlight housing.... will that be painted? will you be able to paint it whatever color you want to?

I'd definitely consider this, especially with a HID conversion. These things would sell like hotcakes!

The probable price is good, but I'm more worried about the quality. No way I'm spending almost a grand on something that doesn't look perfect on the car. (Made that mistake with a Mecham hood on the previous car.)
If the quality is good...I'm all over this...

If they are great quality for a low price like your turbo kits then I'll definite look into it. I'm trying to find a reason to get rid of pop-ups....but I like them too much.

In short, no. They would need to design a whole new housing as the headlight covers are different. Or you could convert to a LS1 front end
