If I read the linked website correctly, the doors aren't available for the T/A's right? Which is too bad as I only have a T/A to put those doors on.

The doors and hinges should be identical. The exteriors are slightly different, mainly the mirrors. I wonder why the TA wouldn't work, if that is true?

Dunno, I just recall seeing only one Pontiac on their list of available kits, and it was like a Sunbird or similar car.

I'm guessing they don't want to commit to saying it will work until they actually put one on a TA. Who knows, there could be a little something that IS different.

2K for some brackets and hardware

I would like to see it done. Still unsure if I like the look of them on vettes, or TA's

It wouldn't be the first time........like the GS (ZR1) wheels......T/A's can use either the 38 or 56/50 mm offset but the Camaro is stuck using just one of them..........plus with all the minor variences in interiors and exteriors, it would not surprise me AT ALL if they were not compatible.

i have a bird as well but i am willing to take the risk of buying the kit and putting it on my car if we can get a GP. i believe that the kit would work on a T/A better then it would on a camaro, because of the mirrors. the fender does need a little bit of work for the mirrors to clear but nothing to serious.

the kit is now confirmed to fit on the t/a. you can see the post at the bottom of this link. it was posted by the guinea pig for the kits so its credible now ifwe can get enough people together we can get a group purchase so we can lower that price a bit.

im sure you could put this kit on yourslef. it would only take a slightly mechanically inclined person to do it as it doesnt take any cutting or welding. ill get some more info on how low the price would drop if we did a GP. he said we would need around 10 people.

People are amazing.........one of the coolest styles of opening doors EVER & everyone is calling it "rice".

For the car show guys and anyone who wants something different OR who doesn't want to keep banging their car doors on the cars parked next to them, it is an AWESOME mod. I know that here in Los Angeles, it is a royal BITCH to find any parking spaces that are wide enough to not stress over someone parking so close to me/my car that I am gonna get yet ANOTHER door ding............

Maybe it is just me, but when I think of "rice" I think of fart cans, useless huge wings, phony/cardboard body kits and neon underbody lighting among other similar things...........

A lot of folks here sem to have such negativity about this, why not just NOT post about it since you obviously have no intention of buying one. Remember what your parents used to tell you? If you don't have anything nice to say.................

Just my humble $.02

I'd consider it, but again, a lot of money

i have a feeling this is a set up where pictures don't do the kit justice. It has to be pretty impressive to see in person, being such large doors in all. good luck!

Evently? Do you mean eventually? If so, HOW do you "know" this?
