Default Lambo Vertical Door Kit

Ok guys I am looking into buying this kit and having the local body shop put it together for me. But I am concerned about door fitment after it is complete and any other problems you may be aware of. Let me know if any of you have any experience with vertical doors. Thanks
Kevin

It's been done, don't sweat it

And for the guy who hasn't seen them on an F-Body search around there is a thread on here.

Thanks guys, the kit is ordered and the mod will begin next month. I wil take progress pics and try to keep a daily diary as I will be there as it gets done. I am shaving the handles as well, and the toughest part was finding\fitting hyd. to lift the doors.
As far as who sells the kit I dont want to list who it is and give them free ad. when they are not a sponsor but feel free and email me if you are interested.

Does this require a certain type of roof? Say a hardtop instead of T-tops, etc? Or does it pull-in/push-out when sealing the door?

Go ahead and list the supplier. No other sponsor on here sells them so it's not really against the rules.

I have seen it on them both so I would say it does not matter. I have T's but am also having the local body shop do the deed so it all fits and looks good.
And here the link for those of you who asked lambo doors This is the kit my body man suggested.

Also a word to those of you who PM'd me to let me know you think what I am doing is wrong and "ricey" please keep your opinions to yourself, I did not ask if you thought I should do it, only if you have, so that being said until you own my car please keep it to yourself. Opinions are like ********, everyone has one.

Ok off the soapbox now, thanks to all who have added there thoughts.

You forgot to say the end part of that quote:

"Opinions are like *** holes, everybody has one and most of them stink!!"

Everyone said how "rice" it was when I put in a push button start on my SS. My response was I guess Ferraris and most race cars are rice, huh?
I've found that most people who call new ideas "rice" are pretty much losers who have no imagination.

wow thats a crazy website, where did you ever find that one? the combat kit is ugly as hell lol, but what ever floats your boat huh! does this lambo kit bolt on and go or is there some minor or extensive fabricating to be done? i was interested in this my self but all the places i found that had this lambo kit did not have one for camaros or t/as i was told that they have a universal kit which involved extensive fabricating to get to work correctly so i thought id wait till sum1 like you came along to do it first.....
good luck hope it works out great

PICS PICS PICS!

I think it looks quite unique. You wont roll up to another F-bod with vertical doors EVER. Sometimes you have to go on what you want and not what others think. I think you will be VERY pleased with the results.

Give us all a detailed account from start to finish if you can please. Many of us are interested in this.

This chick i know has them on her car (honda civic)I know i know, her doors line up fine after the install.Only thing i don't like about them is i don't think they raise up high enough so you have to watch yo mellon.Other then that the kit is nice and straight foward.Good luck

Hitting your head on the bottom of the door would be a bitch, but I think it will be interesting. I can't say I'd ever consider doing this to my car, but congrats on going 'against the flow' and doing what you want. Good luck, and post pics.
