I was privileged to do some testing on this product and it really is nice. Creates a super slick and shiney finish. Whether or not it's worth the price tag is really up to you. I think it is.

I ordered some of the new Z8 along with the new Z2 PRO but haven't had a chance to use it either. I ordered mine on Thursday morning at 10:30 am and it arrived at my door step the next day at 1:30 pm.

Sell your kids, remortgage your home, divorce the wife, trade-in the dog...
Do whatever you have to do to get your hands on a bottle of Z-8.
I've been using Sal's products since I owned my 1998 Navy Blue Metallic Formula and I just applied a good dose to my 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Firehawk Trans Am and HOLY CHIT!!!
This stuff is incredible!!!
It is slick as glass and feels like you're applying an extra layer of clearcoat on top of the paint!
As I was applying it in my garage, I could visible see the tone of the SOM darken and deepen to a depth I haven't seen in quite awhile. I'm not sure how long this effect will last since it's the first time I'm using it, but I'm going to apply it to all four cars and see the effect.
It is far superior in a fraction of the time to anything Sal has on sale now or in the past IMO. I can't say how it will affect other colors, especially the non-metallic reds, whites, blacks etc., but on my SOM, the difference was immediate and incredible!
Got to take some new pics this weekend and post them up.
Sal, you are a car detailing/chemical genius!!!

Update:
I just got through applying the second full body application including under hood on my SOM Fuel Rail Covers and in the door jambs etc.
Sal Zaino can correct if I'm wrong, but here is the unexpected encounter I had:
By applying this, and I am using my keen sense of observation here -nothing scientific- swirl marks have disappeared from the top layer of my clearcoat. Granted, there are nicks and minor scratches the car has suffered over 3.5 years of ownership that are there and visble, but the very faint swirl marks accumulated over the years from wiping the car down etc seem to have disappeared.
Again, as stated in my first post, the color and clarity of the SOM going down the driver's side door is optically amazing!
I'm going to be ordering at least on more bottle of Z8 ASAP because we've got four cars and this stuff is amazing.
Now here's the real kicker: My SLP chrome wheels have been pitted and generally crappy looking up close for a few years.
I've applied Blue Magic, Simple Green, Mother's, Zaino etc. and there are some pretty persistent stains that never seem to come off; kind of like deeply embedded chemical or water stains.
I vigorously applied the Z8 with a 100% US made cotton towel and all if not most of the stains are gone!
So after applying two coats of this to my wheels, my car, by windows, the underhood side etc., it's just amazing what it has done for the top surface of the paint.
Again, I've only applied it twice today so the long term durability I cannot verify as of yet, but I would see no real need to ever use Z6 again (sorry Sal!) with this stuff in my hands.
More to come...

Man, how about posting some pics. I'm still waiting on my Z8 to get here, but if it's as good as you're making it sound I'm definately gonna have to wear the shades when I wipe it down now.

I got a bottle a few weeks back and love it. It makes your car feel like you just polished it with Z2, it's that slick! Gives it a deeper look.
I havent Zainoed with any polish in almost a year now and look how well JUST Z8 makes it shine!
