rock chips aside, i think it would look pretty cool if the front bumper was on fire and it was getting sucked up into the ram air scoops and then spit out the rear going up the rear bumper - JMHO.

Here are some teaser pics of my hood that i painted last week. Not completely happy with the layout so its going back into the paint booth so I can tweak it a bit. Cant see in the pics but i made a stencil of the old ram air decal and used that as a shield for applying a coat of kandy apple to tint back the other layers, made for a cool ghost effect that you have to look really close to see. Should have it done by this weekend and i will post some decent pics up in a new thread so you can get the full effect.

That's awesome, you should apply the ram air decal on the side flame over it, then when you are done peal it back that would be cool, and if you don't like it, you could always touch it up.

Hey man that's awesome.
Something kinda funny, I go to school at OSU and im talkin to this guy Grant and he is telling me about this dude that painted flames on his Ram Air. this was like 2 days ago. And anyway, im thinkin to myself, some dude on LS1Tech was talking about doing that so i mention your post and he says "Yes thats my friend!!!"
Crazy how small the world is, crazy.

He wont stop talking about driving your car for like that 2 minutes he did, he loved it.
