If you don't have T-tops, mount it to the ceiling facing the front of the car. Make a custom enclosure that allows sufficient airflow, and cover it with some headliner to make it look very custom and well thought out. You can run the wires through the headliner as well. All you'll have to do is turn sideways to switch games.

um, try putting it in your living room, thats where i have mine

sorry, couldnt resist. keep in mind an xbox is very heavy, not sure if you should be mounting it to the ceiling above anyone's head.... the best place may be in the trunk, just use wireless controllers. but changing games and stuff would be a hassle. i dont think it will fit anywhere else unless you take out the rear seats.

Who will really be playing games when you're rawhiding the car? I'd sell the x- box and use the money to buy more horsepwer mods.

I'd go with a PS2. Sorry but the Xbox is going to be a PITA with the way DVD's load. Further, the thing is HUGE and it will heat up like a ****. You're a lot better off doing it with a PS2. Also, make sure you get one of the updated power cords for xbox, as the OEM ones had a tendency of overheating (and some caused fires). I can't think of any good place for an xbox that would allow you to still change whichever game is in it.

If you cut the inside of the center council out would it fit in there? Then you could close the lid and it’s out of the way.

one of those new micro PS2's would be pretty slick, and alot easier to mount and conceal.

i have my ps2 mounted next to my amp in my custom enclosure. its about 2-3 inches right of the amp in the pic. you cant see it because it is covered by the box. the face is sticking out of the front and you access it by folding down the rear seat. i use to have a regular controller as you can see in the pic but now i have two wireless ones.

Just a question, but when driving, when would you have time to play x-box. Maybe you are at a cruise-in...wouldn't you be looking at other cars instead, same thing applies to loitering in some parking lot....maybe looking for chicks. I don't get the whole gaming system in a car...I understand it for those with kids, and DVD Players, but that is what SUV's and minivans are for.

As far as show, If I was the judge, I would be looking for a performance or appearance mod that makes the car stand out. I doubt I would ever vote for a car that's specialty was a audio/video system, nor would any other car buffs I know.

I'm not going to do this by any means. But I could definetely see myself taking a break at car shows to play some Halo.
