Default Need Pics: Cars w/ the SLP Eibach Springs

I know alot of SS and Firehawks had this on them from the get-go if you ordered it, and many have added this same setup. Please post pictures, ride height measurements, and approx. drop you experienced with this setup. Thanks.

This is not a good picture, but they are the SLP Eibachs. No measurements...car is 2000+ miles away.

Very seriously considering these springs. They are how the cars should have come from the factory. Looks like it should be like that. Doesn't look lowered and super nice, but its not a 4x4 either. Thanks for the pic Zane.

I am about 1.5" lower in the rear, due to stereo, but this should give you an idea!

I cut my front springs to lower it a bit more since the rear looked like it was sagging. I personnally do not like the spring rates that Eibach offers for the F-Cars, they are too soft . . .

Looks good Xsta, one of the best stances I've seen (besides the Hotchkis cars). Did I read somewhere that you cut half a coil off the front springs? What did you use to cut them? Also, what is the lowest point as far as ground clearance goes on your car and just how low is that (currently at 3.5" right now, need a little more than what I have).

Seems like if you've got 17" wheels the car needs to be lower (Pro Kit, G2, etc), but if you've got 18"s the car looks better up a little bit (SLP Eibachs, Hotchkis, BMR).

I guess I'll raise it up now, and start looking for 18" wheels over the winter to make the car look the best that it can again.

Here's mine...

From some angles it looks level & from others it looks high in front, but I'm happy overall with the stance of the car, so I'm not going to change them.

Yeah, part of the optional Bilstein suspension.

After seeing the regular springs, then Xsta's cut springs, I like the more raked look of the cut springs. I think his car sits perfect. I believe I'm going to order these up, then when I figure out how much to cut and what to cut with, I'll trim them down a little so the car sits like Xsta's car does.

I have the Bilstein suspension on my Firehawk. My cousin has a 98 T/A with the 16"chrome stock rims on it and we measured ground clearence from the ground to bumpers and they were the same.He used to swear mine was lower than his and I didnt think so.???????

Cutting the springs is not a good idea IMHO. Yes, the car gets a better stance, but you loose performance from the spring and also ride stability over bumps and stuff. Be very careful if you do this. I would not reccommend doing this for a daily driver.

What grille is it that a few cars on this post are using? It's the grille that looks like you just ripped out the plastic part of your bumper, except with the insert it gives you a mesh grille and covers up all the holes and crap

I don't have to drive my car everyday so it's fine
