ive been dealing with this since i was 16. living in va you got two choices, keep it legal or pay a fine now and again. i have 5% on all of my cars. i cant stand to drive car with out tint. to me its worth the fine every now and again. about 80$ now, was 55 when i was 16. you might go 2 years or get caught twice in a week, when ever a cop wants to be a dick. watch for troopers there known for traffic enforcement. scan ahead and roll em down before they see and try keeping them down in the summer it all helps. i had gone about a 2 years and got popped by a women cop a few weeks ago on a power trip. the shittest part was i was in my beater which only has 35 on the sides on the way to work. needless to say i freely expressed myself to her. i say **** em but if you dont want a fine one day then stay legal.
