Carbon Fiber WS6 hood pics I ordered the hood from (non-sponsor- PM for details). It is excellent. When I first mocked up the hood - I thought it was a little off, but after adjusting the headlights, bolts and hood bumpers, it fits *very* nicely.
I'll be happy to answer any questions.
Here are the pics in no particular order. They pictures were taken this evening in the shade, so the CF doesn't 'pop' like it does in the sun...but it 'll give you a good idea...

Wow, that looks REALLY nice dude!! I'm not a huge fan of carbon fiber, but that is very subtle and clean looking!! Looks like it fits perfectly and it must weigh nothing!! Did it come like that or did you have the non nonstril parts painted black?

thanks guys. to answer your questions so far...
the hood is from RKSport. It was the first of its kind from them. Cost was $700 shipped on a GP. I spent $571 at the body shop for prep/paint/fitting/etc.
I don't know the weight. The stock ws6 hood is about 5 lbs lighter than stock...and I'll be this is a few pound lighter than that (fiber under, CF scoops).
The hood was light grey & CF when I got it. Nice thick gelcoat.
They do custom stuff too...this was. But now they've done it, and I know they'll be selling more of these. The fitment is excellent.

Wes from RK Posted pics of the hood with the gel coat on it. Looks real nice. I thought about getting one for my car but I don't know if I would like it on my red car.

i like just the nostrils in CF. looks really nice, but still subtile. if i had a darker car, id already have one. that looks like a really high quality piece.
