Question Zl1 Big Block Hood??????

I was wanting to get a ZL1 big block hood for my 2002 Camaro Z28, But i can not find any pics.

So if anyone has one, will you please send me some pics??

thats a cool name.....rare these days.......but anywho whats the difference b/t that and the normal SS hood?

SS hood has little to no cowling @ the rear of the hood. That hood has a significant cowl along the trail edge of the hood.

The ZL1's intake is much wider. I've been debating between that and a stock SS hood. I heard that the intake actually arent all that good and force hot air into the engine, so maybe the ZL1 hood would be better as it is blocked off and has to be cut to be made functional.

I am also considering getting this hood... I am waiting on pictures from DGM of what it looks like on our car though... I havent seen anything too compelling yet...

I doubt it'll force hot air into the engine. W/ a ram air design like that if its functional, it shouldnt recieve much, if any hot engine air. It should pull the majority of what it needs from the outside.

What I've heard/read was that the hot absorbs a lot of heat and really warms the air going through it. I guess at night would be great. What would be real cool, ould be to mount a TB on the inlet that could be opened/closed at the touch of a switch or throttle like the old 82 Camaros.
