Check out the Wheelskins cover on AfterThoughtsAuto:

I have no experience with them, but some members on here do.

I just got a regular black pleather one from autozone, I like it better than the wheel with nothing and it hasn't messed it up either.

I can't really tell but does this one lace together to make it look like it came on the car? If so I may consider getting one.

I suggested to my friend who has worn away the top of his wheel by gripping it so hard all the time, to use some type of sports cusion wrap, like the stuff the bikers put on the handle bars, or golf clubs, or baseball bats... I think you could find something that matched the interior and wrap it around in the needed areas, it might make a nice accent to the wheel appearance. Im sure they have all types or materials, from like a leather feel to sticky rubber.

actually, I might go out and get some and try it now that I am thinking about it, it sounds like a good idea and Im curious to see how it would be.

That wouldn't be too good of an idea b/c that stuff is hard as hell to get off, and it basically rips off everything under it when coming off (aka the original leather/pleather/vinyl on the wheel).

It says it laces together to ensure a snug custom fit.
