how to get water spots of windows hey guys, i'v got water spots on my front windshield, and t-tops, i have tried car wax, and paint thinner that someone told me that worked for them but that didn't work either, is there anything out there someone has been using that has worked for them, does meguires, or 3m make something to get water spots off

Any glass polish should work. Just takes a little elbow grease. I've also used the newspaper and white vinegar/water mix. Both work fine. I couldn't ever bring myself to use the steel wool idea... I know many have used it with no problem, but I'd hate to be one of the few who ended up with scratches.

I have the same problem. I've had bad water spots on my back window and Ts since I bought my car and they WILL NOT come off. I've tried alcohol, mineral spirits, the Zaino glass polish, and I just tried the vinegar thing. None of them work. It's depressing.

get it at wall mart or similar places
