the silver on the first one looks pretty nice. except the center air vents cover. i dont like that. i think a ring like on the far right, for all 3 would look much better. wonder if i could get that with the whole thing.

www.sherwooddash.com has a different kit (the one pictured is for the auto):
http://www.sherwooddash.com/shadowsheets/0546.gif
It doesnt have rings aroud the two outer vents, but the part goes around the center vents also goes around the radio and hvac control pods area. See the schematic and you'll know what I mean.

a str8 up g was right about that flat molded kit thing.
, it is glued by 3m automotive adhesive tape ,the kit material is 1/16 thick and is molded to match the area that is going to cover.thanks and keep on sending pix ,so we all can see and decide.
*By the way ,i made a kit myself of adhesive brushed aluminium and looks nice ,above all it was very cheap, now i am looking for these "hard to cover" parts which looks best

Check out this place. They are local to me but they have a few pic on their site of the work they do. I think they may be albe to get the look you want but it would be on the factory part.
I've talked to them about doing a few things but I just haven't gotten around to doing anything yet

Found it! I think.... it's on www.fbodymotorsports.com in the new products section. It's pretty pricey though..... $650 with a $225 core charge. Hope it's what you're looking for man.

there is an aluminium gauge bezel but they do not make it for europian dash-bords,(as meters/signlights are differently distributed)
The air conductions in aluminium would be nice aswell.
I have considered painting it silver, but I do not think this center-console lookes that good, painted.Did anyone dare to paint the plastic interior, and made it look better!!!
Thanks in advance for all your suggestions or pics, they are highly appreciated

Now with the interior in my recent car (69 Camaro) , this is what I did to get rid of the "Plastic look" that you refer too. 5" Autometer gauges, MOmo Steering wheel with momo ****. They both have aluminum too. These are work in progress pics. I will have updated pics next week in this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/346735-5-autometer-gauges-2002-ta-dash-i-finally-designed-fabricated.html.
deleted old pics. Added new updated ones to first post.

Thank you,
I designed and built the gauge pod all by myself using 16 gauge steel. The autometer gauges I just purchased from a local dealer. They are Ultra lite Autometer gauges. Stay tuned. Today or tomorrow I will be posting videos of all the gauges working and more updates to my interior.

I drove the car yesterday for the first time in a few weeks and all the gauges work 100%. Fuel, oil pressure, gas gauge, tachometer and speedometer all work perfect. I was shocked how easy it was to calibrate the speedometer. I will get video and pics tonight after work. I also drove it to work today and I get to stare out the window at it all day.

Thanks for the compliment again. Here is a really really good update!! 7/27/05!!
MAJOR UPDATE 7/27/05
Dash transition piece is in, stereo is in, and here are some videos of my Autometer gauges in action as promised.
I took the original 69 Camaro defroster vents and put them in the center of this piece I made out of 20 gauges steel. I might eventually cover it in leather. All gauges work 100%!!

no offense, but I'd lose the pedal covers. Those come loose all the time, last thing you need is a piece of plastic getting in your way when trying to brake in the middle of traffic. Plus it looks kinda ricey and the rest of your car is immaculate. They sell awesome ones made out of metal that are more pricey but look way more stock.
