Body Kits
As far as body kits go, i really don't think they are needed. They do make the car stand out, but as stated by a few others i would rather lower the car 1.5"-1.8" and that's enough. The black ta with the ww kit imho would look better without it. Thats why cars are great, you can make it how you want it!
Camaros or T/As, I'd rather lower it than putting a body kit on, that would also give a badass look and a better handling over stock, 2 for 1!
Yeah some G/E can look retarded if overdone, but most of the T/A and camaro G/E's (all the standards, WW, xenon, viz) aren't so overdone they could be classified as rice. Personally I think xenon ground effects belong on a camaro, I'll be buying some soon and having them molded to look like one piece, sick.

I prefer big @ss tires over lowering.
That and the WW for the T/A looks damn good. It helps make up for the 3 feet of overhang on the front bumper. Which looks REALLY bad when you stop to honestly look at it.
Not to mention with a kit instead of lowering you can run FLP long-tube headers (not SLP).
Has anyone with a lowered f-body driven in San Antonio before, or is living in Austin?
I tears the living crap out of the vehicle. A body kits front bumper must constently get replaced. I would prefer replacing lip over the entire front bumper being repainted (which I had to do).
I had a 97 TA with sportlines never scraped the nose. It's all in the driver!!

Nah, it is all in the current construction in your city/campus. I had to start taking a different road because of the dip where they cut it. If you REALLY feel like taking a road at an angle at ~30 mph with thin lanes oncoming on one side and outgoing on the other you can try. I luckily didn't get nailed there I was nailed with a pothole that was like the grand canyon in the road. Again with the not really being able to take it at an angle due to the risk of running other cars off the road.
Regardless I am just stating observations on people with kits and lowered cars that the damn things always have chopped noses. Especially the kits with the concrete curbs/parking stops. Only the 1 inch lowered ones seem to survive out here.

Everyone is talking about "rice this" and "rice that" and some people with the WW kit are saying it isn't which is fine...
My question is this, I noticed that not a single one of those T/A's has the WW rear spoiler. Why do you think that is?
I'll tell you why, because it's tacky and dare I say "rice" to put a second spolier on top of a factory spoiler when neither one is neccesary.
Don't get me wrong, certain body kits look really good, especially ones that are incorporated well into the car's body lines like the factory T/A. But when it looks like someone just stuck something on with double sided taped, that doesn't look good.
Now, to all the people screaming about the use of "rice" and want to ban it, suck it up, get over it, and move on.
Rice is as much a description as ghetto or trashy or hillbilly.
Examples:
Ghetto.... Taking a trashed big 70's boat and putting 100 spoke gold rims on it with a crown air freshener along with hydraulics. Now the same can be said to a f-body with 22" rims and air bags when it's a v6.
Oh well, I'm done preaching.
