Default Spinners on a 'vette....

Yea thats right, yesterday morning I got on I-57 headed north and saw a Corvette with spinner wheels! Sorry I didn't snap a picture for you guys but I was so shocked I had to do a triple take. Whoever that is should be ashamed of themselves disgracing a beautiful car like that with pop culture BS

That about tops the time I saw a Vette with a TA spoiler on it. What's next, a Ram Air hood for it, too?

Was it a newer one, or an older model? Either way it's horrible, but I'm just wondering.

Well I dont know anything about Corvettes so I dont know what year it was but I do know for sure that it was a C5 vette and at least it wasnt a Z06. I personally don't like spinners on anything, I think its just tacky its one of those well hey I have a bunch of money and nothing else to spend it on , how about these really expensive wheels !!

The only taste that person has is in their mouth. Same goes for late sixties/early seventies muscle cars with gold wire "wagon wheels". If you want to ruin a car, ruin something that no one likes in the first place.

10 years from now maybe they'll look back and realize how stupid that looked.

i saw one set of spriners on something i accually liked once, i THINK it was a vette...not sure, but the only thing that spun was the center emblem no ugly *** spinning blads or what not, just the center, other than that yeah spinners are ugly as sin, and annoying as hell

Guy here in Nashville has a '97 coupe with 20" Knock off chrome Lowenhardt Ld-1's, and some bolt on spinners he runs sometimes. Matter of fact there's also a kid in a black 00' SS with the same wheels setup, just black centers.....Just for the life of me, i cannot get into that scene.....then again, i haven't tried very hard either...
