my roommate has that hood and not a single line matches up, plus the lips on the back corners of the hood look bent up. Those hoods are total crap.

 

Sorry to hear about/see your hood problems, but I have to ask, what is the deal with the dog taking a crap (in your photo album)?

Look a Mecham Lead Technician Hard at work!!

 

hate to tell ya, but be careful with the tips as well. I had a set and the chrome came off the inner lip. I had to bitch and moan to get myself a new set. If these also mess up, i'm going to a different tip. Seems mecham has quality issues all over the place.

Yeah, I was going to put another thread with"what my dog thinks of Mecham", but last night this site was having problems(at least on my end). Ah, hell, I'll put it up anyway.

 

Yeah, that sux man. When I sold my old TA, I'd had the Mecham on there for about 2 years...and it had a few cracks like that along the leading edge... Makes you even more angry if you had to spend a lot of money getting the hood to look halfway decent when it came in brand new...and then it starts cracking on you.


I've been saying this for about 5 years now (since I had the Mecham put on my old car)...Mecham hood quality sux. No nice way to say it...

 

Are their spoilers just as bad as their hoods?
I wanted something different for my Z28 because there is an SS up the street from me, and I dont like the flat spoiler it has.
