Default Blackout Opinions

Hey guys, I was lookin at some blackouts for my 99' T/A and just wanting to get some opinions if you think I should get them or not. It's the factory midnight/navy blue paint job btw. also if yes, which brand would you suggest?

Thanks

its 6 of 1 and half a dozen of another on blackouts

call around and find the snap on ones, they work the best imho, the ones with tape fall off at high speeds rofl...

I think they look better than the honeycomb covers, but debatable on straight lights

if you think they look good, get them.

Well I would never blackout tail lights on a car that wasnt black , but thats just me . Also don't those covers warp the lights over time or something like that ? You could look into some VHT Nite Shades. Its like black spraypaint that still reflects and shows though the light from your taillights

well I could have gone with the 38mm offset, and had them stick out even more, but the 50mm tucks in just nicely. Most people go with that offset on the 11's.

I don't like the black out look. I say use some niteshade on them and smoke them out. It will make it darker but not black

I say go for it! My brother has them on his NBM trans am and it looks really good! As far as warping the tail lights he hasn't had any problems so far!

I had them on for about a year and a half, took them off later because I grew out of my rice burner stages LOL

I had no problems with any kind of warping

I have the covers on my White Z and I think it looks ALOT better blacked out. If somebody calls them rice or tacky I'm gonna kick them in the face and point out that the tail light and interior of their car is made of 100% plastic as well!

git rid of the bird thing and the T/A letters, make it all black instead of having a few white here and there, make it the ultimate smoothness, now that wraps up the *** for sure!
