I just parked in the sun for about an hour to heat it up. Then just slowly pulled them off, and removed the adhesive with my thumb. Then the rest of the adhesive with goo-gone.

lots of pics at the link below. I used to be anti-!molding mod because I was afraid of more door dings than I already have, but damn it looks so sweet without it, I'd never go back.

You young guys crack me up, remind me of myself from years ago. Well, I'm 36 so I'm not that old. Why in the hell do you guys feel the need to remove the body side moulding?! They are there for a reason, to protect the car from side dings. I removed mine from my 3rd gen back in the day, but now I realize that it was a waste of time. Sure, to your eye it loos "cool" or different, that's just because you are used to looking at the car with the moulding on. If you haven't already taken it off, leave the moulding on!!! Jesus! Nobody is going to notice this, and no girl will give a ****, and you aren't going to impress anyone. The car looks the same way, and with moulding its being protected. LEave it on. Sigh.

So what your saying is that we can get door dings in our doors? That is probly not going to happen since they are made of pure fiberglass. The modeling is a pointless GM add-on. Kinda like the Shift Skip for us M6 drivers. Its F'n pointless! Just my .02

I know.. I know.. its not a big deal about the moulding. I just overall its funny because you guys remind me of myself years ago, and of my little brother who is always doing stuff to his car. I would have done the same thing and wanted to remove it so maybe I shouldn't talk too much. But sorry if I sound like an old man or something, I hate sounding like that! Look, as long as you don't put an airline wing on the back or connect a fiberglass boat launch to the nose of the car then you'll be fine.
