Anybody buy these $24.00 clear corners?
I found these on Ebay and was wondering if anyone had bought these and if the quality was acceptable.

and then you'll have an ebay seller that won't send you new ones.

The main cause for condensation in your DRLs is because the rubber seal on the 3157 bulb connector is bad or in my case, missing. I have even seen some people drill a couple of small holes on the bottom and on the back. These locations keep water from splashing into the light and allow the condensation to escape when the bulb gets hot enough to evaporate it.

Thanks for the input. I live just outside of New Orleans so the mail is really slow right now, which is better than having no mailing address at all like some folks are having to endure, we were fortunate. But, when I get em' I'll let ya-all know how it turns out. Thanks again, I will put RTV around the seal for sure.

I tried to seal them and didn't work, then about 3 months later I decided I was tired of the water in the lights and removed them. Only to find out the heat from the bulbs warped the back of the housing and caused them to get water in them. I ended up just getting some covers and reusing the stock lights. Plus after the moisture was in them for a few weeks they started looking like the backside of aluminum foil, the dull aluminum look in little spots all over.

I've had so many people say to put sealant around the edge where the clear lens and housing meet. I hate to say that in my particular case, that wasn't the issue. The issue was where the bulb screwed into the housing. The bulb sat a bit loose, and water leaked in from the gap between the headlight and bumper.
My suggestion is to make sure the bulb sits correctly in the housing. Use some 3M double sided tape or sealant around the bulb.
(BTW, once I did what I mentioned above it was problem solved)

I had the ebay ones at first and didnt care for the bulbs showing and i did get water in them after the first time I washed it. I went ahead and got the more expensive ones from RK sport. They have the reflector type clear lens that is just like factory and no problems yet.

I bought those, didn't use sealant and have had no problems w/condensation. Just make sure you use the rubber bulb housing gasket. BTW...I opted for the "chrome" bulbs from auto zone. They dont look orange when they're off.

I've had RKsports clear corners for a few years now. They did get water and condensation every now and then. An easy fix for that was just drilling some tiny holes underneath the lenses. Problem solved.

Well I guess I'll find out. I just put them in tonight. I forgot about sealing them with RTV. I'll have to go back and do that. I didn't get the first ones I ordered. For some reason they wouldn't ship them to my address. I got these,

Thanks for all the input!
