Default Jantzer type valvecovers

Is anyone making smoothed and powdercoated valvecovers. Like the ones Jantzer use to do? I'm looking for some black ones.

Thanks

Have you ever considered paint? Before I got into this polishing craze I did the vcovers, tb,maf ends, waterpump in red with clearcoat and the tensioner and thermo housing in black with clear coat.

They looked very glossy because of all the clearcoat and was pretty smooth too.

I think he is looking for some that have been smoothed out and don't have the spots to hold the coil brackets. The only holes are for the bolts to hold the cover

Craftsman is selling a new home powder coat gun for around $50 cordless too I think, spray the part and put it in the oven 400 deg for one hour. Not sure when it is coming out might want to check the website. I know you dont want to do your own but I just wanted to get this out since I just read it the other day.

I truly hope that when you say "put it in the oven" you don't mean the kind you use to cook food in, which would also be inside your home. VERY bad plan.

Unless newer technology has come out, that' s exactly the type of oven you use. It is however recommended that you pic up an older used oven, and do this outside of your home, like in a shed or garage. Your mother or wife will kick your ***, if she finds out you had your valve covers in HER oven.

I'm not arguing the TYPE of oven you use. A plain jane oven is no doubt the most economical and sensible thing to do it in.
I'm just saying DO NOT do it in your actual oven or inside your home, your lungs won't appreciate you if you do that. You also need to be in a well ventilated area while putting the powder down AND while it's curing, and wear some type of mask so you don't inhale the ****.

Inhalation would be the last thing you need to worry about after doing this with mom or the wife' s oven!
