Default 69 emblems: lots of questions...

...and before you ask, of course I searched.

I've decided to buy from http://www.firewheelclassics.com/ because they're cheaper than yearone. They have a couple of choices which include the GM z28 badges or reproductions. Reproductions being $5 cheaper.
Here's the list of questions:
1) Whats the difference between repros and GMs?
2) Then they have a rear panel z28 emblem what's the difference between this and the fender?
3) That leads me to another question which is I understand that the rear fender on the 4th gens curve, can you still place the same fender and/or rear panel emblems there with some forcing/bending?
4) Or is there a place that sells 69 emblems for 4th gen rears aftermarket?
5) If not, have people tried to switch where the bowtie and z28 badges are to fix it?

If you can, show all the different rear badge combos (like where you put them all) in some pics.

Thanks for helping out in advance guys!

I got mine from Firewheel Classics as well. The front emblem is a fender emblem (I couldn't find a GM grille emblem and my repro broke - more on that below). The side ones are fender emblems and the back one is a rear emblem.

1) Original GM badges and repros look slightly different. The repros are a little brighter on the "28" part. Get the GM badges, trust me on this one. I had some of both and when I went to put one on my front grille it required bending a good bit. The repro immediately snapped in half when I tried to bend it. The GM one will bend quite a long way with no problem.
2) Size. The rear one is slightly bigger.
3) Yes, but again get the GM ones for best results with bending.
4) No.
5) Not sure what you mean.

You can't fit them where the stock Z28 emblem goes. The only way you'd be able to put them there is cut them down like this guide.

I was asking that stock, the Camaros have the bowtie on the left and the z28 badge on the right. Would there be a way to put the bowtie on the right and the z28 badge on the left.

Very pretty car btw, I like where you put the badge on the back, but I'm going to put a "Hurst Equipped" badge under my left tail light to even everything out. I might just take the bowtie off and have the Hurst and the 69 badges under each light.

You could do that but I still don't think it would fit (unless you moved them to the far left of the taillight).

Thx!

Oh, and when I looked at your rear badge it looks like it wont fit under the light. Is this because you got the "rear panel" one instead of three fenders?

Well it is bigger but I'm about 90% sure the fender one wouldn't fit either. You may want to check out the guide I posted a couple of posts back for an option though.

Couldn't find the guide you were talking about but now I have another question... is the grill Z28 emblem small enough to fit?

This guide.

No. The grille emblem is bigger than the fender ones (and even bigger than the rear one if I remember right. I actually thought it was too big for the grille so I'm glad I have a fender emblem on there now.

Default different old school badge

I went with something different, as for old school badges go. These if you can see them are off a 67-68 Camaro with a small block. I figured it worked, and my Z has an SS hood and spoiler so....
