Default Please give me opinions regarding the Mecham Camaro Z29R spoiler.

I like it, because it's subtle unlike the '98-'02 SS spoiler. It looks similar to the '96-'97 SS spoiler and the Ultra Z spoiler, but it looks like it sits up higher and curves up more. It might also make it easier to clean and polish the underside of the spoiler and the area beneath it. Also, is there a chance that the spoiler can improve vehicle aerodynamics and give me better quarter mile times? Since the spoiler curves up so much, do you think there's a chance that water could pool in front of it? Thanks in advance for the opinions and info.

Can't tell from that angle. It's a mecham, so I wouldn't get it anyways, but that's just me.

Hmmm, that's a pretty car, but I don't care for the spoiler. Looks like it flips up too much.

Yeah, I dunno about that flip, my biggest thing is price -- I thought Mecham's Z29R spoiler was really expensive?

Sorry for not clarifying, but that ain't my car. It's a car in Mecham's website. Just planning ahead.

Thanks alot for the pics! Yeah, they're really helpful. Just looking at the black camaro...I had no idea that the spoiler would look so aggressive! Definitely not subtle...

I think it looks incomplete becuase it is a lot like the SS spoiler that is so common. I like the looks of the supports on the OEM spoiler, JMO

After looking at the pics of the black camaro with the Mecham spoiler, I realized that the words understated and Mecham spoiler does not belong in the same sentence together. I'm about to jump ship and just go for the Ultra Z spoiler, but I don't even think that SLP sells them anymore.

One thing you could try is to buy a cheap repo 98+ SS spoiler and cut the pillars off then glassing it back up.

Mecham and quality don't belong in the same sentence. If their spoilers are anywhere near as bad as the hoods are, at least Mecham has tried hard to make your car look like *** when it's done. Why, there's my link again to show off their garbage....

those tips stick out a little IMO.

Sorry, don't care for the spoiler either. Might as well just get a 93-97 SS spoiler.
