i have a new emblem i got but it doesnt have the 3m tape on it, i tried puttin some one but its kinda hard since the emblem has curves, is small and its just hard to cut the 3m tape to fit, any other ideas on how to put it on?

Try some 3-M emblem and badge adhesive, comes in a tube, should be able to find it at your local walmart or autozone. It worked fine for re-attatching my Z28 badges, just clean the surface first with some rubbing alcohol.

I have done it using 100% clear silicone before and it never fell off (lightly scuffed then cleaned both sides with alcohol.). When I went to remove it, it gave me a fight but came off fine with a guitare string.

Oh yea, If you decide to go that route. If you put too much and it squeezes out the sides don't wipe it off. Let it dry then use an xacto knife to trim it off. Or just don't use a lot.

I have done it with Cobra and 5.0 emblems and also lettering as well as a body kit. I scuffed to be xtra sure it would stay but if you just cleaned it and wiped it with alcohol it should stay fine without scuffing. I have never heard of Silicone messing up paint but to be sure you could Silicone a dime to an inconspicuous (how the hell do you spell that???) spot like somewhere under the hood or under your plastic hatch panel.
