Are you using it on Foose wheels like Chip says to do in the commercial?

I've been looking for one of those to try out. I need to polish up the wheels on the Dodge and they're pretty oxidized, so it takes forever and a day to do it by hand.

It does take a while to get used to how it works. I used it on the wheels on my explorer and it worked well. As for the wheels on the T/A, not sure it would fit into the little spots in between the spokes. I would say it's a good thing for 5 spokes.

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy it, but it was only ~$25 so live and learn.

Jason bought one and cleaned his new wheels on the HD. It looked like it worked pretty well to me. Even put a little bling back in his toolbox . Looked pretty good.

I have one and it definitely works well for quick touch ups. Not so great for heavy oxidation or show time. Also it is starting to fall apart after 3 uses...the foam is coming apart very easily...I don't imagine it will last another 3 uses.

Where'd Jason get it at? Locally or off the 'net?

not wasting 25 bucks on something if its not a quality piece that will last for some time..

I tried the Flits stuff, the only thing that I hate is it gets dirt really quick and you have to wash it before you use it again. Nothing like a cotton cloth-one part gets dirty, fold it over and use the other side.

Not a miracle product.

My thoughts exactly...it does an okay job on the open, dished part of my TTIIs, but it's next to impossible to reach the "nooks and crannies"...and when I attempt to push it into the tight areas, the semi-sharp edges of the wheel "shave" the foam away...If you have a nice open, semi-flat wheel like Chip Foose is shown polishing in the commercial, then I'd say go for it...if you have a wheel with any kinds of tight areas, spend the $20-$25 elsewhere (like Ben-Gay for your soon-to-be-ailing polishing arm)

Works great on large flat surfaces, but mine started coming apart when I tried to use it in tight spots. Works awesome on the tunnel on my snowmobile, but not so good on my wheels.

It works pretty well on my chrome ZR1's. It doesn't work so well on the 6 spoke swirl polished aluminum wheels on my S10. It doesn't like to go into tight spaces and the power polish didn't do anything any better than the Wenol or other aluminum polish I have. It did work pretty nice on my tail pipes and muffler on the SS. It was definately easier than doing it by hand. You'll still have to do tight areas by hand. The Flitz polisher looks to be less bulky and will probably work better in tight areas and small holes.
