F-body door hinges Lamborgini style
I saw a Camaro with doors that opened up, instead of out and I want it... not only is it unique but just think no more worrying about parking and being able to open the long *** doors. anyhow, anyone know what Im talking about and how to get them or where to look ??

Step 2: Find the word "Search"
Step 3: Click the word "Search"
Step 4: Type in "Lambo Doors" or your topic of choice

PS: Mr. parbreak if I had known what the name of what I was inquiring about was, dont you think I would have simply done a search ?? considering that is the faster and easier approach. but nonetheless I figured it out thanks.

I've seen camaro's with lambo doors. they fenders remain unaltered. however.. this thread pops up atleast once a month.. do a search and if anything bring a dead thread to life if need be. no point in having 500 lambo threads.
on another note... don't mind the haters... you will get plenty of flames tossed your way for putting "lambo" doors on your car... it's your car.. I've seen some T/a's with them and it looks sick... these doors are rather long and i'm sure while getting in and out of my car in my garage they would be benefical...
anyways if you are still reading this it's time to stop and use the search button.

I totally agree but like I already stated I didnt even know what key word to use to find what I was looking for. thanks for the info about the fender not needing adjusted though.

Most of the time they have to cut the fender and then attach it to the door somehow. Don't ask me how they do it, I just know I've seen it where they cut part of the fender that butts up to the mirror right off. Actually, here's a pic...
PS - Yes we all know Camaroism's car is ugly, honda'd out, rice'd out, whatever, I'm posting the pic for reference of the fenders, so everyone else reading this DONT START FLAMING THE CAR ITS !!

dang whats with the fake rivits all over that ... that .... that thing ?? and that body kit ??? to each their own but man thats an ugly car in my book. take away the front the rear and the fake rivits and it might actually look pretty sweet. thanks for the pic though. I'm thinking there are a couple different kits out there and maybe some you modify the fender some you dont. Id rather not though.

AGAIN...
What you have to do is open the door out, first, THEN up. IMO, once you've already opened the door outwards, you've already opened it enough to slide out.

I'm all for doing whatever you want to do with your car, no matter what else anyone says. I personally would not do this, though, because it would be absolutely useless and even a nuisance. I also would never put 19's or 20's on my car, but there are def others that do that because they think it looks good. Key word: THEY think it looks good. It is THEIR car and they can do whatever they want with it. There is a difference between asking if people would like it and asking if you should do it. The former will always get bad and good responses, the latter shouldn't even really be asked b/c it is not anyone else's property. Take these comments in stride and make your own mind up. Your name is on the title, not LS1Tech.
