Need Help with 2-1/16 Gage Install in A/C Vents
OK, before everyone jumps me for posting a re-occuring question:
I know there was a post about this at one time - but all my searches came up with nothing
I want to install 2-1/16 gages in my A/C vents of my T/A instead of 2-5/8 because some of the gages I'm using only come in the 2-1/16 size - don't want to mix and match.
I'm looking for pics, or install instructions, or aftermarket bezels that will work to put the smaller gages in the vents and still look good.
TIA,
-Jay-

i've been looking for something for the camaro a/c vent, but have found nothing...you'd probably have to make your own bezel. my friend did it with fiberglass and body filler.

Thanx to everyone that replied so far, but I'm looking for 2-1/16 gage install in the round A/C vents in a TRANS AM - not in rectangular vents of Camaro.
I know the 2-5/8 fit in the round vents perfectly, so I'm looking to see what has been done to install the smaller 2-1/16 gages - which is what I'm using.

I just made a round filler piece out of ABS, then used the black cardboard tube (cut down of course) the gauge is shipped in to space it off the ABS ring. Then I cut and bent the ears of the bracket so it pushes against the dash itself from behind and that holds the whole mess in there.
I dont have any pics of all three smaller gauges, I was able to trade them for 2 5/8 but the wideband is still 2 1/16 so you can get an idea of what it looks like..
