Default Would gunmetal hockey stripes work for my car?? Pics??

Anyone? Anyone? I just bought some Smoothie II's for my car and I was thinking about getting them powercoated (maybe) gunmetal and was thinking how some matching hockey stripes would look. I have black halos and a black panel i dont know if it would clash with the black accents i have or not.. Opinions wanted!

Thanks,
Summer

i personally think that would be HOT! different than just the normal black hockey stripes... but not too out-there... and if the wheels match... that would look realyl great... maybe photoshop it

I think it would look good, the black doesnt really seem to flow very well and a gunmetal color I think would

No, because pewter and whats normally refered to as gunmetal are too close of colors IMO.

When you do an accent, you want it to stand out. Black on red, Orange/red/black on white, black on pewter...see what Im sayin? You dont want your accent color to fall in with the base, you want it to stand out. If not, may as well not even do an accent period. The contrast is what makes both the base and accent "pop" out at ya. I say stick w/ black on pewter. Yeah its been done 1000002 times, but it works.

Have you ever SEEN gunmetal on pewter? It looks SWEET. Much better than it sounds. 3rd Gen Decals has a picture of a pewter SS with gunmetal 35th style stripes on it. I thought it would look ugly but looks real nice. It's the only color I actually like with pewter. Black on pewter is just so blah and boring to me.

Summer, I thought I told you that a 2 tone would look even better. Have the middle gunmetal and the pinstripe a lighter shade of silver...this will really make the hockey stick stipe blend in nicely. Trust me this will look hot, plus it'll match your rims perfectly if the center is painted gunmetal with the lip polished or chrome.
