Default Spray and Play...?

Does anybody take their car to the local pay and spray place? I have heard that the brushes leave fine scratches in the paint. Who thinks this is true and who thinks its BS?

Never did trust the brushes after seeing someone clean off a muddy 4x4. Frame and fender wells.
I do, but I take a bucket and wash mit, to hand wash and spray rinse, and the use rest of the goodies.
So people don't get pissed, I will keep the meter running-water flowing, or go at the non busy hours.

You would actually consider useing one. LOL They will scratch the hell out of your paint. Always and I mean always hand wash and use microfibers. If you value your paint, you never even consider useing one of those brushes.

I always do as mentioned above. I spray the car down with soap mode, then bust out the brush and my bucket and hand wash the presoaked car then rinse with the spray gun and spot free. Followed by a spin around the block and maybe a waterblade followed by quick detail to bust out the small stuff. I do this about once a week or maybe two if i've been really busy.

You guys must be pretty slick, or go to the wash at 5 am. Around here if they catch you with a mitt or a bucket they get upset or just ask you to leave.

If I get caught out in the rain, or if my car is just somehow dirty, and I dont have time to clean it up good before tucking it under the car cover, I'll use the spray soap and spray rinse cycles. I never use the brush on any car I care about.

Ideally, I try to hand wash at home any chance I get. Even the soap is strong for your paint in regards to stripping off waxes. I just hope the Zaino holds up to it (I think it does by the way water beads on it).

I use it after spraying it out and soaping down my car. Silver hides minor scratches well though. I always hand wash it with a sponge before waxing.
