Default PICS of the Vette after compounding, polishing and glazing with PC

Just got a PC7424. Very happy with the results considering what I started with in a daily driver.... This nose was all to hell before I started...

Porter Cable. See sticky. BTW looks real good . I need to get around to doing mine. Finally just washed it after too long for me to post (stupid road construction, my car is perpetually dirty ).

I did this...(with a PorterCable 7424)

1...Washed car

2...Clayed (then washed off residue)

3...Compounded with Sonus DAS Orange Foam Pad and Sonus SFX-1 cutting polish

4...Polished with Sonus DAS Green Foam Pad and Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Polish/Swirl remover

5...Finished/Glazed with Sonus DAS Blue Foam Pad and Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish

The car started out in pretty bad shape, my daily driver. Here are some shots of the nose cone before and an after shot (after one pass of swirl remover)...

After

Holy Sh*t that swirl remover works well. Haven't seen results like that with anything other than the 3M one that came out a while ago. Car looks great man.

I did 1,2,3,4, then did the Klass all in one sealant last weekend and it made a huge difference on the Formula.
The SFX-1 cutting polish really smoothed out the chipped clear coat on the front bumper of the car. Also smoothed out the road rashed clear coat around the backs of the wheel openings.
I need to do the final step of 2 coats of the wax they reccomend with the "Perfect Shine" from Autopia this weekend.

Car looks great.

In the first pic I don't see a door, just a guy holding a camera with sky behind him.

Looks damn good!

Those areas on mine were trashed... It is almost unbelievable how much I was able to bring those back in shape... I choose NXT because it has a light paint cleaner built into it and I know I will wax at least once a month...
