Why the hell was a cat in your car?

Go to petsmart and get something specifically for cleaning up cat ****. Its the only way to get the liquid toxin smell out.

I have heard that white vinegar with neutralize the smell but I am not sure what it will do to the carpet color wise. Test it on a small spot unseen. Make sure you dilute it with water.

I still want to know how a cat pissed in your car without your knowledge.

Seriously, a good shampooing, like a steam carpet cleaner, will work perfectly.

Here are some solutions:

A can of Tuna wetted soaked with antifreeze

A 22. shot to the head when in your yard for any reason; leash law applies, you thought he was a stray.

Tape an M80 to his ***, have a beer, sit back, enjoy the show....

A can of Tuna with broken/shredded glass...

A pitbull with enough chain...

Anything electrical....

Happy killing!!!!

Having adopted multiple cats, here's some advise:
#1 is the cat that pissed in the car male or female?
#2 if it's a male cat is he fixed? Reason being is that there is a difference chemically between "cat ****" and him "spraying". "Cat ****" will glow under black light. "Male cat spray" will not. If you can find the spot it will be much easier for you to eradicate the smell. Do not use a blacklight "lightbulb". It's not true black light and won't show. You need the flourecent bulbs from Spencer's or where ever.

Anyway, here's what you do. #3 find the spot. #4 put carpet cleaner, talcome powder or something of the sort on the spot. LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE. The powder will absorb the **** and extract the urea in the urine (the vingar smell). DO NOT USE BAKING SODA. It will make it worse. #5 vacume the powder out using a wet vac preferably. #6 use a spray-foam carpet/apolstery cleaner. Let that **** sit on there for a good five minutes and scrub it in. #7 Vacume again to remove excess chemicals. #8 put powder down again right after vacuming and let it sit. Again for a while. #9 vacume again. #10 You may have to do this process a couple of times do to the fact your car will heat up and cool down and the smell may resurface. Also it's a good idea to keep you car shut because other kitties will search out that smell. Febreeze works good for masking the smell when all is said and done, but I would put "Carpet Fresh" on the spot and keep vacuming instead.

BTW this process will also work if you spill "Fuel Injector Cleaner" in your trunk. Don't ask me how I know that Hope this helps. Sorry it's so long.

Those are some good tips, Philly...I know from my wife's two cats that the male rat, er um cat spray smell is about the foulest odor on earth and it is near impossible to remove using conventional means. Our PITA male cat has two couches, a lazy boy, two bean bag chairs, and countless baskets of laundry under his belt. We have had good luck with "pet stain removal" products that have enzymes in them.

I do have my K-9 partner, a Belgian Malinois, that is eager to help with the kitty problem

I had that problem and ended up selling the truck because the smell just would not go away. I tried everything and the smell would not go away. In the summer the car was unbearable when it was hot and the windows were rolled up. I guess, if you really want the odor gone, I would buy new carpet.
