I consider myself a good driver. I have had the car for almost a year now, and had most of the current mods since I got my license in feb. I have had zero speeding tickets, no warnings, citations or anything. I dont even drive that much, because I only drive to school and work, and both are within 6 miles of my house. I'm not a crazy driver by any means, and am only doing these go-fast mods for the track and because I've always wanted to mod a v8.

I went through the same situation as you are. Except I paid for everything on my car. I sold a couple dirtbikes and my firebird my junior year and next month will be my last payment on my 99 Z and then no more car note. I still pay a hefty insurance note along with gas and mods. And the way I went was a split way. Appearance was first because it was cheaper but at the same time I was makin it look good I also made it go fast. With the rear inserts, badges, tint, clear corners, and grill out of the way, I then went with the intake mods. Including SSRA, K&N, lid, smooth bellows, and fan switch. All of those first mods were all under $200 each. Then I went expensive with the z06 rims and tires and then about a month ago I went with the LTs and ORY. I'm not a senior in high school.

hope this helps

My plan is to save up slowly for a 12-bolt and cam, and mod the other things on the way. I will put money aside in case something breaks, and for these mods while modding other parts on the car. I plan on spanning all of this out over a 2 year period, so its just a matter of what to do first I guess. I will also be working weekdays soon, so I will have some more money, and this summer Im gonna try and get a better job and work 4-5 days a week and save up everything.

Anyone gonna help me with the photoshops BTW????
