One thing I have noticed is that Vettes and other higher end vehicles are more willing to race or even pick a race with you. I had several 3rd gens and fox bodies in the past that many vettes wouldn't even look over at.

I took my car out one saturday and got SO many looks from people with fast cars. First was a guy in a 67 white camaro with black stripes. We exchanged looks from opposite directions as we passed each other.
Another was a 95ish Mustang that saw me and punched it. Had the most evil sounding exhaust i've ever heard. Must have been cammed.
Then there were a couple of other 4th gens that i exchanged glances with. Feels nice to be in the prestigious club of fast cars.

Nice thread guys.
I get alot of looks from mine, one reason it only hits the road once in a Blue moon.
-But the 10spoke chrome wheels get tons of compliments. They always shine at there best.
-Older women druel over it at local shows because its a fast red great looken vert.
-But like all of you guys, you really love it when you get the compliments. Most common question.......Whats that thing got in it??? And to think I am so tame compared to my High Octane's members cars.

My car grabs a lot of attention, but not always positive. Either the person loves it or they are appalled by the "obnoxious green". I always get pulled over because I don't have a plate on the front of my car, but in the front window and the cops look at me driving it and think that I am some young spoiled punk kid, they don't know that my dad and I built the car and I payed for everything (luckily I was able to land a good paying job as a Mechanical Engineer to cover my expensive hobby).

At idle or Wot I get the stare and compliments. I had the whole Mcdonalds crew hanging out the drive thru window, lol! Rednecks love my car , not sure that is good, lol!

Absolutely, EXCEPT the color selection.......but I get bashed by my racin' crowd b/c of the added weight and multi-functionality:
Show car, audio competition, and soon to be MODIFIED!

I once made the mistake of taking my Z28 into Quick Lube or something like that...the redneck hillbilly who was my "service writer" yelled out "now that's a three-fiddy!!!" I didn't want to spoil his enthusiasm, so I just said "yep." I kept my sarcastic comments to myself and decided to never have a "quick" place change my oil.
Other than that, I have a G5 cam on a 112lsa, so it lopes pretty good through my full hooker exhaust, or even more agressive through the cutout...many heads to be turned

I forgot another one....drive throughs are the best. After you order and you pull up to the window to pay their eyes get real big and they'll actually treat you a little different sometimes, or so I've noticed.
