Default Custom taillights for T/A?

Not trying to be ricey, but I have never seen any kind of tailight mod or replacement for a t/a except the smoked covers. Anyone know of anything?

Nope. There are none. You can get the black out covers.. Or you can smoke them with VHT Nightshades.

I am smoking mine lightly with Nightshades. Then buffing for a factory finish. Probably be a winter mod typ-a-deal. I'm going to paint the tail light filler black as well.

I actually really like the factory lights. There is nothing out on the roads that looks like them. But that doesn't do much for fellow TA owners trying to be different, does it?

That sucks, there is nothing elso that looks like them except the million other T/A's. LOL. I was even thinking about trying to take them apart and strip the honeycomb pattern off. Don't know if it would work or how it would look. I'd definitely probly get a junk yard unit to try it on.

i have a friend who sprayed his lights using clear with some black mixed in it. i looks really good. the 93-97 lights would be a bitch to mask off the B/U lights on though. the 98 and new lights would be easy to mask.

It was designed for a 4th gen, and has been adapted to fit many applications. I have them on my car.

I painted mine the same color as the car. A lot of taping and really didn't change the look too much.

I just smoked mine with some VHT. Not all black. You can see the red but it has a richer candy red look. The back up lights have a evil look as well. Dragon where did you find the stickers to cover up ur tails when you painted them. I wanna redo mine in black, they are faded

I just went to a sign/sticker shop and gave them the size of hexagon I wanted and had them print me out a sheet of "I think" 250 stickers(I'd have to count again to be sure). Then I spent about 5 hours placing all the hexagons on.
