question about spoiler installation

ok i just bought a ss spoiler to replace my stock spoiler but since my car came with the sport appearance package the spoiler extends further then the other ones do (look at the pic to see what i am talking about)

the problem with this is that when i take off the extensions there will be lil screw holes left in those areas so i wanted to know how i can take care of this issue...somone else told me i would have to fill and repaint these areas...is that true??

What what else did you have in mind to fill in the holes? Common sense maybe?

Are the side pieces really held on with bolts? I thought they were just double side taped to the car. I like that spoiler better than the SS spoiler anyways.

yeah its three holes on each side bout the size of a nickel each. no other way to get around it other than they have to get filled in.

If you're stuck with the holes, upgrade it to the IMSA/Dick Harrell style spoiler. It's taller and meaner looking.

what i am doing since i have the same problem, is i am welding small plates on the underneath side of the holes. then i am filling the hole with either bondo or just fill it in with welding. then i am just going to have the quaters faded in rather than painthte whole quater.
