Default Under the hood dress up stuff

A week ago, under the hood this looked stock. A few MODs added this week... MTI clear lid, strut tower brace. Waiting on a "Formula" decal to go in the center of the brace and I have FRCs on the way in a few weeks. I also have plans to wrap hoses and wires in red.

What ya think so far? (work in progress)

Wrapping the wires in red and switching the battery for an Optima red top would look great!

Sweet, also I don't know how much they run or if they will work, but some Red Vette Fuel Rail Covers would look killer as well.

I have base black fuel rail covers with red text coming in already. Were at the Fair on Oct 15th?

It was interesting to me because after I installed the MTI lid.. the car choked while pulling it forward into the garage.. I had to keep gas on it to keep it from stalling.. next time I started it 10 minutes later and gave it some gas in neutral.. it ran/idled fine and has run fine/better ever since. So the MAF had to learn the new airflow and compensate with fuel. I don't know what kind of Dyno numbers I will run until I fix a tranny mount that is stripped. (sometime the next week) but I am looking forward to it.

I agree, that would get a lot of clutter out of the way, along with aftermarket fuel rails, maybe a battery relocation, and re-loom the wires.

Check out this link: http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZdhwilliams I bought a set from the same guy that is selling these. Total install time was only about five minutes or so, and it does make a little bit of a difference. They add a little contrast to the engine bay and look good doing it.
