I've had mine for a couple years now with no problems to report. It seems accurate, but I have not had it verified by radar or dyno...from what I understand, the calibration is done to the cluster itself, so it shouldn't be affected by tuning changes...

I have one as well, and LawmanSS is correct the calibration is only to the speedo to allow for the extra travel up to 200mph. Gears will not affect it, the cluster is calibrated, not the computer of the car.

so out of curiosity, if you do NOT have it calibrated then would it be accurate up to 150mph?

Umm, no, 200 on the new cluster would be where 150 is on the stock one, so at 150, you would be reading 200

thanks guys....... i read a post that had like 3 people talking about their problems with it and that kind of got me freaked out about doing it, i guess it just seems like they all suck when the few cases of bad ones are the only times uve heard any opinions of them at all.
anyone else have one?? and when did you get yours?? maybe the early ones had problems that got worked out??

Four years now. Not a single problem. Just lots of compliments.

"Dad, this car can go 200mph", small children at shows. LOL

I've had mine for not even a year and the speedo stopped working mid-drive one day.
I called GMS, they said to ship it to them.
The car was out of commission for 10 days but it was fixed with no problems.
Overall I'm happy with the cluster.

I've had mine for a little less than a year. No problems whatsoever. I have checked it against other cars at certain speeds and it seems to be right on, it would be nice to check it against radar though.

Did you know HPtuners still works past what ever the speedo says? also the aeroforce scangauge will show MPH past the factory speedo.
You could use one of those to compare the new speedo.
