Default cobra shift ****

ive seen a few of u have installed them...what does it take to do this? will it just twist on???

btw i just noticed thru search that some people have just put a cobra shift handle on, anyone have any pics of this? i like how my fbod one is angled towards me-im short.

I tapped out the cobra **** and just twisted it on so tight it aint commin off

I just tapped out the Cobra **** and screwed it on my 5.0 short stick.

Filled it in with some hot glue as well... keep rattles down and such.

Your write-up said there were only 2 options. If you added the third option your write-up would be complete.

I re-tapped my Cobra ****. This may not be the best option for some because you need the right tap & drill bit but it does allow you to continue using Camaro shift ***** if you decide to change it out again.

I drilled and tapped the Cobra shift **** also. It does take some equipment, 2 drill bits, the special M16x1.5 tap, and preferably a drill press. Other than that it was much easier I thought than changing the shifter stalk.
