I agree with you. I'm sure there are other things to consider in the price quotes given in this thread. For me, I already had a good standing with the painter. I had referred business to him on several occasions. His shop tries to stick with restoring classic/muscle cars; Whenever he has a customer that needs alot of electrical work done, he'll call me to do it for him. (he knows I don't even consider it work, just fun) so that has alot to do with getting a better than fair price. I'm sure many of the guys in here with some pretty slick paint jobs didn't just drop there car off at a shop without forming a little relationship first. Just my thoughts anyhow.

Well I would love to do it but it might not be worth the money. I'd like to see how it looks before doing it ofcourse. Thanks for the insight.
