What a bunch of bull s***, I never knew any of the SS Camaro's came with a V6 engine that looked like it was an LS1. And why would you sell a 98 SS for $3,000 haha that is great. So we all know this is bogus, is there any way to let anyone who bidded on this car know so they can retract their bid before they get screwed by this guy. I am sure none of us would like that to happen to us so why not let all the people who are unaware of this know of it, in case e-bay does nothing about it like occasionaly with things I have paid for and been disappointed with which is why I never buy anything off there anymore.

You can contact each bidder by clicking on their ID after you click "Bidders" on the auction page. It should bring you to a page with a button that will say,"Contact Member".

I will try when I get home from work tonights. We should have a few people do this so they will know this is serious misrepresentation.

Yeah that is definately a SCAM. My boyfriend sold his 90 GT on ebay 2 years ago. He sold the car for a little over $7,000. Every month since then, we find his car up for auction again. All of our same pictures, the vin# and the description is exactly the same. The price is usually a buy it now for $2,000 or $1,000. They first hacked his ebay account and sold it about 3 times on his account. Ebay made him pay the listing fees and the end of auction fees. He had to cancel his account, and now they sell it under someone elses name. Watch out for a 90 GT that is navy blue with titanium ground effects, stalker bumper cover, and a big cowl induction hood.

Scam, ..., Seen it done all the time, ...
I bet I send in a dozen reports a week to eBay like this, ...
The most common thing that sets it off is the low payment 'Buy-It-Now' in the auction text with an email address.
By the way, I wouldn't send them an email or even send the seller a message, as the scammer will just have more bait to work from with your eBay username or email account.
The auction will be cancelled pretty soon, ..., I'd bet on it, ...

This one will be also, ...

Here's another, ...

See anything similar?!?!
That ends class for today. Learn anything?!?

Trying to notify E-Bay of the scam, but their means of contacting them is pointless . .

Someone should tell the scammer that your a business man from the Ukraine. Tell him your gonna send him a money order of 8 billion dollars ask him to take his cut and send the rest back to you with the car. That should shut him up or you might get $7,999,997,000

Your right I believe that car is in Michigan and the owners name is Jeff. That's why I don't care for ebay.

that really makes me mad that people do this. I did notice that most of the people bidding haven't purchased anything in the past.

Now I'm having problems logging into my account. Says it doesn't recognize my info....I sure hope my account hasn't been jacked.
