I will make more of these when I am back in town in a month or two if more people are interested. I will offer more materials too like stainless, polished aluminum, and black plastic. Then if anyone is interested I might be able to do some in titanium, clear polycarbonate(bullet-proof glass), brass, or copper.

 

The panel took about three hours to make, including the time to make the template. Now I can make them in about an hour and a half. The plate then took about 15 minutes to glue on and grind out the plastic behind the holes, minus the 2 hours to let the epoxy cure. Then installing the gauges themselves is just a matter of running your power, ground, light, and sender wires, which is a task of its own. The console takes just a couple minutes to remove and to put back. Your looking at a good day's work to install everything, including the gauges, which usually requires jacking up the car.

 

I did a 3 guage pannel in a 96 formula. I put it where the radio went, and it looked perfect, almost factory. Then a custom switch pannel in the ash tray. Got a lot of props at car shows. They were just tranny temp, MAP, and fuel press.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

 

Just wanted to let you guys know that I recieved my brushed aluminum plate a few days ago and it looks awesome!! Its definately a quality piece for sure I can't wait to get it installed. I'll post up some pics when I do!
