i had to cut a slit and mine look fine too, the 2 slit cover is wider isnt it?

I bought a set of FRCs a long time ago knowing full well the trouble that lie ahead, thats one reason why here, 2 years later, they still arent modified or installed. lol

But they sure do clean up the engine bay. #1 engine bay appearance mod in my book

Here i hope this helps i had the same problem. Just copy my cuts. I now have the slp lid not this crapy stock thing.
