nice interior color, check it out
I was painting some interior pieces a metallic black color in my camaro which is red..so i decided to spray the items with a little red metallic flake as well to accent the exterior, but just a little as i do not like the clash of red pieces in black interiors so much..
it didnt quite come out how i wanted, but i did produce a purpleish metallic color..which happens to be a beautiful color if you were interested in that for your ride...just wanted to post some pics and the paints i used and the trim pieces...
its a VERY stunning color, especially in the sun...i just was looking for a black'r color...let me know what you think

It looks as if it is some sort of clear paint with red specks, but not necessarily clear coat! If you look closely at the close up of the HVAC Cover (right name for it?) it seems as if there is not an actuall clear coat on the piece! It could be the picture or I could be wrong! I don't necessarily like spray cans, but if you go to AutoZone or Discount you should be able to find DupliColor's clear coat in a spray can and from the applications I've used it on for stuff around my apartment it works damn well!

i used the ocean blue metal speck outta of a can on my tonneau cover, came out pretty damn bad ***, im gonna lay down some flames over the "bubbles" when i redo it with the same color. But i just did my interior pieces with glossy black, maybe ill lay a little of the ocean blue over it to see what kinda color i get.

the red spray stuff isnt red, the flakes are red, the goo is clear....
Commando- the pieces are sanded and smoothed and clear coated, and feel pretty dam smooth, 100 times better than stock....
however, if you want a truly SMOOTH feeling, like exterior paint on your car, take it to a shop and have it painted with a gun and automotive paint... rattlecans are the less $$$ way to get a great look! I lOVE IT!!!!!
