Default Chrome plated caliper brackets...red painted calipers..any pics out there????

I'll be polishing my calipers anyway so they'll be ready for paint and I'd like to see what this looks like.

Thanks.

Yep, I think if you go with the chromed brackets with the calipers painted red, like the body color, it will look amazing... Then get the decals from afterthoughts.. It will be perfect.

Damn, that looks great. They didn't even sand off the casting marks. I'll go ahead and grind them off and do some good sanding anyway.

So, where do I get the glossy good paint for that to match my bright red car?

They sell some caliper paint made by plasticote at Wal-Mart in Red and Yellow... and the red matched my car perfectly. I did them like the camaro in the pic above... I'll post up a pick for you when I get home.

Nice job, I think I'll see how the grinding and sanding goes to get it smooth, than I'll see whether or not I'll paint them or polish them.

Does that spray go on nice and smooth, or is it rough at all?

They both went on nice and smooth for me. Been on for over a year now and those pics were taken today, so it holds up well and the red hasn't faded at all.

I used the red plasticote caliper paint from walmart... and I ordered the black spray from afterthoughtsauto.com... along with the caliper decals for the fronts
