I think it's yellow and green that make blue. It's been a LONG time, so not really sure though.

Yellow and green make blue, red and yellow make orange, red and blue make purple, red and white make pink....red and green don't make a recognizable color because the human eye will either see red or green, but can not see both at the same time. This is why the most common kind of color blindness is red/green. Wow, I never knew biology would come in use in real life.

2 for doors and 2 for HVAC. Headlight has to be soldered as well as any switch.

If you use the McEwan (sp?) white overlay with the LED's from superbrightleds.com it all matches

I have almost everything in my car converted to blue LED's from superbrightleds.com except for the headlight switch. For that I got the LED from LS1_SS. I still have to do the steering wheel, ASR, and fog light buttons as well as the odometer.

Infinite can you or anyone who has done a complete switch out to LEDs please give some hard numbers as to type and quantity you need for everything. I'm talking map lights, dome, steering wheel, door, HVAC, Headlight controls, Odometer, stock headunit, and any other I'm forgetting. I think it would definitely be sticky worthy since everyone wants to know the info and it get asked about three times a week.

Interior lights, that all depends on how many you want to fit in them. Maxed out, I'd say 90 white LEDs.

Here's what I'd get for LEDs
50 3mm blue LEDs
50 5mm blue LEDs
100 5mm white LEDs

Plus you'll need the resistors, jumper wires and circuit board. for interior lights. Only resistors for dash lighting.

I've been buying my LEDs from this place lately. VERY quick shipping and decent prices. www. ledshoppe.com

Door bulbs, HVAC is plug & play.
Don't forget for HVAC and headlight switches you'll need camaro faces so they'll light up correct.

Infinite I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that you can just peal off the clear plastic film and use acetone to pull the red off the dash. After taking a look at the HVAC and headlight switches it looks like you can do that on them, too. Do you think that this is a reasonable alternative to buying the camaro gear?

I know Brains from HFB did his cluster like that. Looks sweet too! I don't see why you couldn't do it. Sounds like a good alternative! Try it and let everyone know!
I bought the HVAC and headlight switch from a Camaro to do mine, easy as pie swap. If I remember right, to convert every dash light in a T/A the way I did (including price of Camaro stuff and reverse overlay) it was around $80 or so.

So will you be able to swap out the gauges from a 95 camaro to a 95 trans am to install the blue gauges? Also, what would I need to do in order to get the digital odometer readout gauges into my 95 trans am, if it is even possible. Basically I want to duplicate the look that infintereality has to my 95 trans am.

Thanks for any help and sorry for all the questions,
Joshua

The 95 TransAm didn't come with a digital odometer....

As for blue gauges yes you would need the camaro face for that....Then replace the bulbs with a brighter blue, if you want a more intense blue....

TA's had digital clusters from 97-02

I know they had them in 97-02 I was just wondering if there was any way to have them put in a 95, if it was even possible.

Also, couldn't you put the reverse indiglo gauges in the trans am?

I remember reading about swapping a 97-02 cluster in a pre-97 car, but I don't think the electronics worked out right. IMO just leave your stock cluster in there and swap the bulb(s) around the odometer to blue LED replacement bulbs so it'll light up blue.

Yep, you can just install a reverse indiglo camaro gauge overlay on top of yours. Just verify that it all with match up with a T/A cluster. I know 98-02's do.
