Default Pics of my RKSport carbon fiber grill

I fucked up a bit due to the drill scratching the clearcoat a bit but other than that I am pleased with how it looks, check it out!!!

Thanks man! I had no idea how it would look, but DYAAM it looks HOT, I'm so pleased that I got this one!

I also like the fact that it's 100% carbon fiber, dude you should've seen how thin & light this sucker was!!!

I love the way when the light hit's it, it almost looks 3D...I'm quite pleased with it.

That's how I had it before, didn't look TOO bad I guess cuz it was black, but now it just cleaned up the front end BIG TIME!

Oh and thanks bud! I'm really pleased the way it came out and the way it looks too!

RK Sport sells them, I wanted just a regular front end that covered the Camaro and the tab holes, I was going to get the Wings West fiberglass one but apparently they were sold/went bankrupt/closed/whatever, RK Sport had a fiberglass one, but it had "RKSPORT" indented in it I didn't want THAT, one of my buds that used to work there told me about the carbon fiber one, I figured I was going to buy it and just paint it black...

But when I looked it I thought DANG it looks good, so I just bought the SS badge from SLP, had the grill clear-coated and polished, slapped the SS on, waxed it, and there ya go!

I was going to paint it black too Dan, but once I did a fitment check I thought it looked very nice as it was, so I stuck with it...

I've actually heard of some places where they can add some black paint to clearcoat and give it a "smoked" appearance, you might consider that as well.

Oh yeah Dan, LOVE your avatar in the Hawaii site!!!

Looks great. That's pretty cool it doesn't have the rksport logo on it. I thought it did. That's the whole reason i bought mine from dgmotorsports. The Rk one is cheaper. If i had known that i would have saved myself at least $50.

dayum that looks nice. i've really been needing a new grill. I've still got the factory crap cake one. How do you think the carbon fiber one would look on my pewter SS? any possible photoshops?

I think the cars that look best with carbon fiber are:

1.) Black-OBVIOUSLY!!!
2.) White
3.) Red
4.) Silver
5.) Pewter

I like the pewter scenario because the carbon fiber has a color that's a bit of pewter-ish in it, you can see it in the pics that I took.

SuperChannelKev has a CF air dam as well (at least last I knew), so maybe he'll post up in here. I saw it in person out in CA last summer at the Good Guys car show, looked pretty damn sweet.

Carbon fiber on NBM doesn't seem to flow too well in my eyes, But hey if the owner of the NBM likes it then that's what really matters...
