For anyone that has used the Niteshades for a while. has it shown any signs of cracking over time?
I painted my side markers with spray paint and they looked good for maybe 2 years, but now the paint is either drying or the heat has effected them and there are small spider cracks in them. After waxing, the cracks are more visable.
Just wondering how the Niteshades will hold up over time.
Thanks.

I would like to purchase a set of smoked lenses but I don't want to go through ebay. Is there a company that I can call and order over the phone? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wow...old thread!
I did land up going with the clear ones that have the black housing. And yup, I had problems with leaks...but a good amount of silicone took care of it
Thanks guys!

Anyone familiar with a technique where you stretch fishnet over the item to paint and cover the whole thing then you remove the netting and you see the solid color from a distance but see the original color when up close? I was thinking of trying that over the side markers.
It would help them blend in while still being fairly bright and reflective. It may look pretty cool.

Darkening the stock ones on a black car definetely looks better. Go light on the rear one and a little more heavy on the front so they balance out.

^ On a red car.
Has anyone tried putting a light mist of red paint over the amber marker? I wonder if it would still look amber at night with the light on?
Or stretch a tight weave of fishnet over it and put a heavier coat of red. I bet it could be made to really blend in with the car and still function.
Something to think about.
