Default stock grille

i took my stock black grille out and it just pulled out and some nuts fell out from it too, i looked on the grille and where they go looks like its impossible to get back on. it looks mean without it on there but i need to replace it sometime or if i do a billet then does it come with hangers?

Can you post a picture with the black grille off? Is there another grille or something? I thought if you take off the black stock grille you would have a big gap and foam. Thanks.

No big gap.

There is plastic bumper cover behind the grill, same paint color and material as the rest of the front bumper cover. Has CAMARO letters indented on it as well....

Well, not mine personally, I still have the stock grille in place. But if you were to pull the black grille insert off, that's what you'd get.

Thanks man. I always thought people with that grille had purchased it. Im seriously now considering removing mine. But then again I now it can't be put back cause to take it off you basicly have to break the stock grille off. But it does look good.

I just ripped mine off... it looks a lot better IMHO, I think someone sells a grill that looks like that but covers up the mounting holes

Yep, goes over the stock bumper cover once you pull the black insert off.

i took my stock grill off without damaging it, all you have to do is loosen one side of the front bumper then pull it out from the body, next take some pliers and remove the clips that hold the bumper in place. Now i can put it back on whenever i want.

I waxed my car and topped off the windshield wiper fluid, I really feel that in the seat of my pants also, but I didn't gain as much as you did. I feel like I only got 0.6349 hp from that.

Seriously, how does someone feel a 1% gain in power?

Default Ok, I took off the stock grille, took pictures too.

I would like to thank everybody who gave me info on how to take off the grille. Im very happy how it looks. It's got some scrapes in there but I will later have it painted or get the rksport or similar grille.

Everybody who said it was easy to take off wasn't lieing. It was really easy. At first i was going to remove the whole bumper but once I removed my front liscense plate and billet grille I seen how damaged my the stock grille is so I just rimped it off. Being very carfull and it seem if I'd like I can reuse it again but if I ever decide to but it back on I would just get another one, but I don't think I'll be putting it on anytime soon. I like the looks and i think it does look way better.

Now though Im worried about the cops -cause im not putting a front liscence plate anymore- but I'll just have to wait and see, the cops in my area seem cool so I'll just have to see. Thanks again to everybody who helped me out.

Also if anybody needs a liscense cover Im selling the pictured one in the bottom I had it on the front liscence plate and I already have one on the back so if anybody wants this one pm me. I'll let it go for 20 dollars plus shipping. Also who ever wants the gille at the bottom you can have it for free just pay shipping, reasone it was cut in the middle is so I can put my front liscense plate there.
