Default zaino question, answer quick please!

Ok iv spent the day doing the different zaino steps. about 3 hours ago i put on z-5 and that **** still isnt dry! it was warm earlier but now its 60-65ish outside (in my garage)

so no harm done in driving it to the gym with zaino all over it right?
just want to be sure

Something is wrong...How much did you apply? Did you use ZFX with it?

If you drive it and then remove it, there's a chance that you could scratch it from dust, etc. settling.

zfx is the accelorator right? then no i didnt. i aplied a liberal coat, but i didnt pour it on (iv done this before) i usually check by taking my finger and wiping a little bit, and if it kinda dusts off ill take it off, but if it smears ill leave it.

should i just take it off with my orbita buffer? or will that have wasted all my time

Well, for 1 coat, you should have used about 1/3 oz. Much more than that and it's *way* over-applied.

You should *barely* be able to see it go on. "Liberal" coats and Zaino don't mix...it leads to greatly extended drying times (as you're noticing).

If it is still smearing, an orbital buffer probably won't take it all off. I don't recommend that method of removal in any case really.

It's just going to take time and possibly a Z7 wash tomorrow.

If I were you, I would just let it sit on all night and all day tomorrow. Tomorrow evening, give it a wash with Z7, and you should be fine.

You can drive it, but it will need to be washed instead of normal removal.

Sometimes when there is just too much excess, it won't really dry...kinda like when it's in the bottle, it's just sitting there with nothing to bond to. What is actually touching the paint should be dried/cured by then.

A wash should take care of it.
