Default Evap relocation

Does anyone know where or how to relocat the evap hoses? Don't really want to take them off. I know someone used to have a writeup on it, but I have not been able to find it.

I extended the wiring harness and moved the solenoid to the area under the fuse boxes...then I hooked it all up with standard rubber fuel line...

No problem...it's really easy to do and it does wonders with the clutter atop the LS1...

Did the mod as well. Lawman turned me on this one as well. Really cleaned the motor up nicely.

Does the EVAP still work as well when it is not hooked up to the intake. My friend told me this is how it works: When the gas tank see's too much backpressure, a MAP sensor inside of the tank sends a signal to the solenoid and opens it up. That being said, it would seem to me that when the intake is under vacuum, it helps pull the pressure out of the tank. What I'm wondering is if the solenoid is open, will it still purge into the air and work? I know it may not work as well but does it work?

With the above mentioned method, the EVAP system is still hooked to the intake and functional...the solenoid is just in a different location.
